Is fetish art technically porn? I mean this in the sense that the picture is of an individual who is not performing a sexual act, but is mearly performing an action associated with the fetish, for example if a person has a growth/macro fetish is a comic or picture depicting the growth of an individual considered porn? Keeping in mind the picture has no genitalia or sexualized elements and the action is consented to by the individual. I mean for this question to be placed in context of drawings only and not photography. |
| Probably not, if it has no genitalia or sexualized elements to it. |
Where can I find the best, unique, art, from a woman? sex, porn do not interest me I just want quality art? I have been searching for art work from female artists and don't find all that much. I like to see who is doing the painting, and what their back round is (that helps me understand what she is trying to "say" with her art). Some people have a foot fetish, I have an art fetish. |
checkout the work of Kate Lehman www.katelehman.net/
She's a realist out of NewYork and an amazing artist. Just beautiful work.
Jennie Saville also comes to mind. :) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenny_Savil…
Best to you

I am thinking of pursuing a Career in soft adult erotica and fetish? I simply love the fantasy world or erotic art/ soft adult and fetishes (mainly on tall women and bbw women which I am). I would like to max and make the most possible I can to secure a solid future especially because I'd like to have a baby in the next 2 years and travel.
I have NO experience re the legalities around production; photography and video and publishing. Need some good solid legal advice in this area and business advice please? thanks. |
Please study all the literature concerning the area which you want to plunge !
Secondly interact with experienced people in the same field.
Thirdly, please handle all external contracts only through an attorney till you master the trade !! |
What do you think of furries and their art? Any non-nude art is fine for me, but sexually-suggestive art is disgusting, much worse than any other fetish, who's with me? |
| If it keeps those perverts happy so that their deviant behavior doesn't escalate, it's a good thing. I remember when Batman was enough to satisfy their needs. |
What's the difference between ART and PORN? Where is the line drawn between art and porn, is there a difference? Is Erotic photography or Fetish Photography considered Porn? I have friends who are artists and I have friends who are pornographers and we have this discussion all the time. I'm just looking for a few more opinions. |
it's a fine line, but the artist's (?!) intent is part of it. I don't think some of those sculptors were drooling over their work (the models, maybe, but not the finished work). If it's meant to make you react to it sexually, it's likely porn, or on the higher side, erotica (I'd like to see others' opinions on the difference between the 2--they're close, but not the same. Or so I've always been told.) Fetish implies sex & porn to my mind, but an erotic photo could just be a tastefully-posed nude model.
There's also the audience & the view of the local society.
Just as an example of the latter: back about 100 years ago, there was a debate in Chicago about what was indecent/obscene. Someone hung in their storefront window (art store, I think) downtown a replica of a painting called September Morn, which featured an unclad lady standing to her knees in a lake, half turned away from the viewer. (see discussion here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_M… It was challenged a couple more times in Chicago alone over the next decade or 2 (per Chicago Tribune archives)
This is not obscene by current US standards any more than Michaelangelo's David or the Venus de Milo are. |
I have a foot fetish, why women treat me like I'm a wacko when I give them a compliment on nail art ???? I mean they pay upwards to the tune of $40 bux on pedicured art work. I pay $9.99 for the works on my van to be washed and wait I for someone to tell how nice it looks. |
| I think women are just self conscience. I feel that through times, society has made us feel that way!!! Feet are suppose to be not viewed as sexy or pretty! BUT THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!! I love my feet! I spend alot on my toes!!!! And I love it when people notice!!!! Give these ladies time and they will be as excited as you and I are!!!!! |
What is up with the vore"being eaten fetish" ? Apparently there is a fetish called vore. Its a fetish in which people fantasize about being eaten. The majority of vore is woman eats man, woman eats woman or an anthropomorphic animal of any gender eating a human. The art style is mainly anime like. But I don't get it, whats so hot about being digested and dying? |
I have wondered the same thing. I don't like it, but I have had an explanation from a woman who loves vore and now thinking about it, it makes sense. It may be different for everyone, but for this woman, it was all to do with domination. It was the domination aspect that she liked, that she was turned on by. Which I can totally relate to. Very much so. Although it is a very different type of domination, I can understand her like for it. So I guess for her it may be like an extension of the domination paraphilia.
Some people don't fantasize about actually being eaten or chewed (but some do). Some people just fantasize about being swallowed whole and.... come out the other end whole like they went in.... @_____@
Interesting, but I still don't like vore. But I won't hold it against anyone who does like it. |
Looking for photo or clip art of pretty arched female foot to have made into a charm. Can anyone help? I am looking for just the right photo or clip art of a pretty, arched female foot to send to a custom charm manufacturer. I am having trouble finding exactly what I want. Foot fetish people can refrain from answering-this is a business question. I will want the foot photo, clip art or cartoon to be able to dangle on a charm bracelet. Thanks in advance for anyone who can suggest a website or a free photo download. |
| Have you tried gettyimages.com? They have great selections - also have a wide variety of royalty free items. Good luck! |
Is art that depicts certain sexual fetishes that are out of the mainstream some how not art? A recent answer to another question made me wonder what you all think about Art that shows BDSM and bondage and S/M or Cross Dressing or any other fringe sexuality and its behaviors. Is that not art because you might think it disgusting or at least perverted. Most of us can look at Rodin's "Kiss" and say its art. But what if was something a little less gentile if you know what I mean. What do you say? |
It differs on a case by case basis. If it's just a photo for shock value, then no, I don't think it's art, it's photojournalism, without the journalism. Not every photo is an artwork.
But the subject alone doesn't dismiss something from being art, however, I do think that can make it harder to be considered as such. |
Is copying a pose from a photo and taking credit for the art illegal? Warning, the pictures are fetish/bondage, but show no genitals. It may be disturbing to some.
